Whichever way you serve it, when Alexis Ohanian unzipped his jacket at the US Open on Monday, few could deny his passive-aggressive power.

Before standing to reveal a vintage t-shirt with the word D.A.R.E emblazoned across it. DARE is an acronym for “Drug Abuse Resistance Education” and, considering the slogan hasn’t been in circulation since Nancy Reagan first instructed teens to “Just Say No” in the mid-80s, we are going to join the rest of the internet by calling this what it is: a glorious sartorial troll at Sharapova’s expense.

See, Sharapova was suspended from playing in 2016 – for 15 months – after testing positive for a banned substance. The message from the co-founder of Reddit appears to be: drugs don’t pay. And why would Ohanian do this? Don’t we all make mistakes? Hasn’t Williams consistently defeated Sharapova?
