Serena reveals why she doesn’t like to spend money… (Video)

Even though Serena Williams is one of the highest-earning athletes in the world, she doesn’t enjoy spending money.

Since she was a 14-year-old teenager, Serena Williams has competed in professional tennis and earned a lot of cash prizes and titles.

As of August 2022, Serena Williams’ net worth is estimated to be $250 million.

Thanks to her success in the sport, Williams has amassed a massive net worth of hundreds of millions of dollars. Recently, she has also announced her retirement.

Serena Williams is considered one of the highest-paid athletes in the world.

But that doesn’t change the fact that she does not like to spend her money on herself. In an interview, Williams said, “I don’t spend money — when I do it’s on my daughter.”  When asked about what she does with the money, Williams said, “I usually invest my funds. I am the most boring spender ever.” She also encouraged people to invest their money rather than spend it. She said, “Don’t spend it, invest it.”

Alexis Ohanian and Williams have a four-year-old daughter named Olympia. We always see Williams pampering her daughter. And not only that, her father Alexis Ohanian has bought Olympia a share of the women’s soccer team. Serena herself invests in various businesses. After her retirement, she wishes to run her business wisely and focus on her family.

Serena Williams has made an effort to manage her tennis career, business ventures, and regular mother-daughter time since having her daughter. Olympia will turn five in a few months, and her mother, Serena, is considering expanding her family. Serena just announced her retirement from tennis after this year’s US Open in an essay for Vogue Magazine.

In that essay, she highlighted how she wanted to expand her family, which was one of the main reasons she decided to retire from tennis. She also mentioned Olympia’s longtime wish to have a younger sibling.

The 23-time Grand Slam champion is currently getting ready for the US Open, which begins on August 29. It will be interesting to see how far she advances in the competition. And it will be Williams’ last chance to clinch the title to her name.
