In the latest episode of Gil’s Arena, Rich Paul revealed different sides of his friend LeBron. 

The agent of the four-time MVP stated, “If anybody know him, he gets bored fast,” while mentioning the rare known fact about him. 

Rich attributed this part of James’ character as the reason behind his departure from the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Upon being asked about LeBron’s move to LA, Paul cited the talent of the squad as one of the contributing factors. “Looking at the talent,” he mentioned, before praising Jesse Buss, saying, “Jesse had done a great job in the draft”. The young core of the Lakers excited the 19-time All-Star, according to the 41-year-old.

The team by then had youngsters such as Kyle Kuzma, Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball, and Josh Hart. As James got bored in his hometown, the prospect of working with high-potential players excited him. “The talent was young but was there,” Rich highlighted, to explain the driving elements behind the move. What followed was iconic.

LeBron cemented his legacy when he won the championship with the franchise in 2020. He won his fourth ring and set the record by winning at least one with each of the teams he represented.

He entered a struggling franchise that fell from its glory and took the responsibility of changing its fortune. He justified his actions yet again, even when the odds were against him.
